SHIATSU MASSAGE

Shiatsu massage is more than just physical therapy—it is a Japanese manual technique that blends ancient wisdom with the tenderness of motherly care, creating a safe space for the holistic healing of body and soul.

It not only focuses on the body but also deeply touches the soul.

The pressure techniques and rhythmic movements I use help relieve physical stress and muscle pain, promoting overall well-being.

However, the real power of Shiatsu lies in its ability to influence and heal the emotions and the mind. According to the Japanese, whom I love so much: “A hurting body is a hurting soul.”

Through its psychotherapeutic dimension, the patient learns to recognise and process emotional blockages. Interacting with me creates a safe space—a field—for the expression and release of deeper emotions, enhancing inner balance and peace of mind.

The combined approach of bodywork and psychotherapy through massage achieves holistic healing. Those treated experience deep renewal, feeling empowered and restored both physically and mentally by addressing not only the symptoms but also the root causes of their struggles.

It is a sacred practice that embodies the essence of maternal care and security. Through this process, clients can find relief from physical stress, heal emotional trauma, and achieve a sense of wholeness and peace.

Shiatsu is a path to holistic healing that honours the body, mind, and soul. It is often used to reduce stress and protect against stress-related health issues. Additionally, Shiatsu is said to promote healing for conditions such as anxiety, arthritis, back pain, constipation, headaches, insomnia, menstrual problems, neck and shoulder pain, premenstrual syndrome, sciatica, and sinus issues.

Therapists aim to promote the flow of vital energy, also known as chi, which is believed to facilitate healing. According to the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), obstructions in the flow of chi can contribute to a wide range of ailments.
